Cuddles. We all need them. Even the toughest men out there need cuddles.
A cuddle is a universal form of physical intimacy. A hug can indicate so many emotions that no other gesture can, love, friendship, comfort, protection and sympathy. Even animals cuddle! Although dogs tend to like it less than any other domesticated animal, as putting a limb onto another animal generally signals dominance.
You see so many people hugging each other in many situations. Hugs can be performed in social environments without being frowned upon (in most countries).
Now, a cuddle is more intimate. It lasts longer, it gives both people a feeling of warmth, love, happiness and contentment.
The way a man cuddles you can tell you an awful lot about how he feels about you. Here is a brief list of "different cuddle techniques" and what they mean....
1. Pulls you onto his chest - a big softie, showing attachment, protecting, holding you close to his heart.
2. Spooning - high sex drive, enjoys physical contact yet not so good at emotional contact
3. Head in your lap - needy, looking for support, wants to make you feel happy, sensitive
4. Arm around you - not intimate, making less work for himself, knows he should cuddle but wants to do bare minimum.
So which is your man?
I'm very happy to say that mine was very 1 & 2. He never EVER did 3, and whenever he did 4 I knew he had more meaning behind it. I always felt safe when being cuddled, as he used to completely enclose my body, even down to my feet!!!!!! :'/ special times.
If people go without cuddles for too long then they can start to feel a sense of loneliness. They may feel unwanted, unloved and vulnerable.
If you have never experienced a cuddle, then you don't know what you have missed out on. A cuddle is the most amazing feeling in the world. Not many men out there LIKE to cuddle, many have too high a sex drive for that!!! You should consider yourself lucky if you find a man who will go out of their way to cuddle you, PROPERLY!
